Cabins + Tents

Each age group has its own campsite and bathing facilities. Each campsite is where campers rest, sleep, and bond with other kids in their age group. Amelim, our youngest campers, lie in cabins, while all of our older campers live in tents. Each cabin or tent can accommodate between five and eight boys or girls, a counselor and a counselor-in-training (Madatz). Campers sleep in bunk beds, have shelving and cubbies for their clothing and other belongings, and use mosquito netting to make the most of outdoor summer sleeping.

Bathing facilities include electricity and running water with multiple toilets, showers, sinks, and shelving to store personal belongings. If campers forget or run out of any toiletries, Camp Tavor’s communal fund (kupa) is happy to provide anything they might need (toothbrush, shampoo, soap, hairbrush, etc.)
