The summer of 2009 was named by our youth leadership the Summer of Intent. Our campers and staff learned about the theme of intentionality by asking themselves and each other why we do the things we do, and if we can make positive changes by thinking more before we speak or act. All the while, there were crazy costumes, neon green camp T-Shirts, tons of singing, splashing in the lake, and free time to build genuine summer fun.
It was also the first summer we spent with our brand new dining hall and sparkling restaurant-grade kitchen, built with the aid of our wonderful extended Camp Tavor family. The expansion of the dining hall means it now holds a lot more campers — so we’ve got some room to grow!
