*NEW* Michigan Small Jewish Community Statewide
Outreach Initiative
The Ed Ravitz Statewide Outreach Initiative is designed to strengthen
Jewish identity and promote Jewish continuity in Michigan Jewish communities
outside Metropolitan Detroit and Ann Arbor. The initiative (scholarships
and incentives) provides a partial subsidy for Michigan Jewish youth
to attend an approved Jewish experience this summer. Camp Tavor is
on the approved list for Summer ‘08 sessions in Michigan and
MBI and Workshop in Israel.

Applications due March 14, 2008
Scholarships are available
based on need.
Family tax returns and other documentation will be requested to establish need, and all families will be asked to solicit funds from local scholarship sources as well.
To receive a scholarship packet, please indicate your interest in a scholarship on your camp application. You will be sent all the forms necessary and instructions will be provided for completion.
Scholarship decisions are made on March 15, 2008, so we ask that you return your scholarship applications promptly so that we can offer you the best scholarships possible.
Limited funds will be reserved for late applications.
