Join us for the
14th Annual TLT Ride Summer 2023
Friday, August 11th through Sunday, August 13th

Join us for the 14th annual Tour L’Tavor -- The annual FUND-raising three-day adventure ride from Chicago to Three Rivers is always a fun way to spend the weekend, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones.

Starting at Foster Beach on the north side of Chicago, we will ride as a group roughly 171 miles through Chicago, Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan, arriving at Camp Tavor.

Meals, snacks, and lodging will be provided along the way.

All levels of cyclists are encouraged to join.

The entire ride is three days, but you are welcome to join us on Saturday or just on Sunday for the last leg.

Tour L'Tavor is a fundraiser for the Camp Tavor Scholarship Fund. In 2019 we celebrated a major milestone... the 10th annual Tour L'Tavor ride!

Here's a look at our great adventure together:

Scholarships are provided to families who could not otherwise send their kids to camp.

Ride registration is $300 and every participant must raise (or contribute on their own behalf) an additional minimum $200 by August 11th, 2023.

We are encouraging all participants to set up a peer-to-peer fundraising page through the Classy online platform to extend our fundraising reach and the impact of our ride!

You can set up your Classy page HERE to begin fundraising. If you have any questions about setting up your fundraising page, please contact David Ness-Cohn by emailing TLT@camptavor.org.

If you prefer to contribute the full $500 at once... you can do so on the rider application form. Still, we strongly encourage you to set up your Classy page and easily invite friends, co-workers, and family to support your ride via one-click Facebook and Instagram posts and email and support TLT's mission to help sustain Camp Tavor's future and our ability to give the gift of camp to any child.

If you have any concerns at all about being able to afford to join us on the ride, please reach out to the TLT organizers at TLT@camptavor.org. We want everyone who wants to ride to be able to do so, regardless of financial resources.

Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to join! Our group of riders spans a wide range of ages, skills, and speeds.  There are many groups of moderate and relaxed riders cycling together, along with the speed demons leading the charge. No matter your skill, strength, or speed, you will have riding partners. Our extraordinary volunteers will be there to assist with repairs, pick you up, and even give you a ride. In the past, we've had riders ranging from 13-73 years of age. We welcome anyone who would like to join, and we will make sure you make it to Camp Tavor!

TLT relies on the generosity of many volunteers to help with transport, route/road assistance, and setting up. If you would like to volunteer, please complete the registration and indicate "Volunteer" and a member of our planning team will follow up with you!

If you are interested in participating in a shortened ride or have any other questions, please reach out to our ride coordinators, David and Ronna Ness-Cohn at TLT@camptavor.org

See you on the trails!
