Gather your kvutzah for a weekend getaway!

We’re excited to be able to share this creative way for Camp Tavor friends and families to be together - creating community - in a safe and distanced way.

Will the kitchen/dining room be open?

The kitchen will not be available during the rental weekend. The dining room will be available for eating and gathering in the event of inclement weather, while practicing CDC guidelines. Camp Tavor will provide seating under a well-ventilated and covered pavilion and space outside the cabin/camping area to enjoy your meals that includes picnic table seating. Documents, Forms, & Waivers

The Tavor team has developed a very comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure health, safety, and enjoyment during your stay at Camp Tavor. As CDC guidelines continue to evolve, we will plan to send our most updated documents by July 2021. Please be on the lookout for the following:

  • A link to read the full document outlining critical guidelines to ensure a healthy and safe retreat at Camp Tavor.
  • A Guidelines Agreement form for each member of your rental group to sign to indicate that you have fully read and agreed to all of the rental program policies and procedures.
  • A waiver to be completed for each member of your rental group. A parent will need to complete a waiver for their minor child(ren).
We ask that these forms be reviewed, signed, and returned to the Camp Tavor office within 1 week of receiving the paperwork. This timeline will allow us to share current information with you and also have your paperwork on file ahead of your visit to Tavor. If the paperwork is not received by the deadline, you may forfeit your rental, and Camp Tavor may refund your payment and secure a new reservation.

The Basics!

We will be renting our rustic tzrifim (cabins) in the heart of Tavor, which include at least three sets of single camp-style bunk beds. Bunk beds *could* be moved around to create space for an inflatable mattress if desired and provided by the rental group. The cabins include bunk-beds with camp-style mattresses, lighting, electrical outlets and shelving. Each cabin rental will have an assigned private bathroom (one half of a Camp Tavor bathroom which includes showers, toilets and sinks). Rental guests will need to supply linens, dishes, cookware, food and any other items needed to enjoy your unique stay at Tavor!
