FULL SUMMER

MBI \ MBT
Together with peers from 6 Habonim Dror North America camps, MBI is an immersive traveling Israel program. HDNA and URJ have partnered to create a 4 week trip that includes hiking Masada to exploring Jerusalem, with an emphasis on values-based education and deep engagement with dilemmas of modern Israel.
Another option is Journey Europe. This brand-new 3-week program offers teens the opportunity to dive deep into Jewish history and experience modern European Jewish life firsthand.

MADATZ
Madatz is our leadership training program for campers entering 12th grade.
The program focuses on opportunities to develop communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
Madatz participants facilitate camp-wide activities and activities for campers and will also develop, and coordinate a project that will contribute to Camp Tavor for the next generation of Tavor chanichimot (campers)!
You can find information about refunds and cancelation policies on our FAQ page.
WHAT IS KUPA?
At Camp Tavor, campers contribute to a kupa — a shared community fund. Together, they decide how to use these funds for special activities like roller-skating, ice cream outings, or other fun adventures. Kupa also helps stock a community cabinet with camp essentials such as toothpaste, soap, shampoo, stamps, and batteries.
Contributing to kupa is a meaningful way for campers to live out our camp values — learning to collaborate, make group decisions, and take ownership of their community.
Kupa contributions will appear as an additional line item on your camp billing statement.
CANDY & FOOD POLICY
We can’t stress this enough: please do not send candy or food of any kind to campers — this includes “just a little” gum, mints, or taffy tucked into a letter or care package. Food in cabins can lead to pests, disrupt our healthy camp environment, and create inequities between campers.
If campers want candy, they can use their kupa funds to buy it — but only if the group agrees collectively. Any candy purchased this way is shared equally, reinforcing our values of community, cooperation, and collective joy.
